Precautions For Using Ozone Destructive Catalysts

Moisture-proof storage and pretreatment: Ozone decomposition catalysts must be stored in a sealed, dry environment. Before use, use a 20-100 mesh sieve to remove any dust generated during transportation to prevent dust from clogging airflow channels, causing excessive wind resistance or incomplete purification.

Humidity control is crucial: Ambient humidity is the primary factor affecting efficiency. Excessive humidity can poison and deactivate the catalyst. In high-humidity environments, a pre-desiccant must be installed before the catalyst, or the device must be equipped with a heating dehumidification module to protect catalyst activity.

Regular monitoring and replacement: Ozone decomposition catalysts have a lifespan, typically 1-2 years or longer, but this is affected by operating efficiency. Therefore, they should be checked frequently during use. If the efficiency of the ozone decomposition catalyst fails to meet standards, it should be replaced promptly to prevent the risk of ozone leakage.
