Four main types of honeycomb ceramic catalysts and their application characteristics
Precious Metal Catalysts
Core Components: Active components are precious metals such as platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and rhodium (Rh), immobilized on a honeycomb ceramic support using loading technology.
Metal Oxide Catalysts
Material System: Based on a composite structure of titanium dioxide (TiO₂), alumina (Al₂O₃), and vanadium oxide (V₂O₅).
Molecular Sieve Catalysts
Structural Characteristics: Utilizing a honeycomb ceramic support with ZSM-5, Y-type, or other molecular sieves, these catalysts feature microporous channels with standard pore sizes.
Perovskite Catalysts
Chemical Configuration: ABO₃ type crystal structure, with A-site typically composed of lanthanide rare earth elements and B-sites using transition metals such as manganese or cobalt.
