What Is An Industrial Catalytic Converter?

Industrial catalytic converters primarily consist of a shell and internal catalysts. These devices are typically installed in exhaust systems. Their main function is to convert harmful substances in exhaust gases, such as hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxides, into less harmful or harmless substances through catalysis. This conversion process usually requires suitable temperatures and the presence of a catalyst.

Industrial catalytic converters contain catalysts, which are typically special metals or metal oxides. These chemical reactions can convert harmful gases into harmless substances such as water and carbon dioxide, thereby reducing environmental impact.
